CPUs are capable of running faster than the standard speeds, by default all CPUs now overclock depending on thermal conditions to get more performance. However, this will never be as good as a manually overclocked CPU. Choosing our extreme overclocking option means we spend some extra time really exploring the limits of the CPU, squeezing every last drop of performance from the CPU. To get the best results you will need a good quality motherboard and a powerful CPU cooler. Please note, this option usually adds a day to the build time.
