At Wired2Fire we have been busy testing memory kits over the past few weeks, and based on the results we have decided to switch our default RAM options across our range to – KLEVV a relative newcomer to the industry, but with an incredible passion for performance products.
Who Are KLEVV?
KLEVV is a premium memory brand owned by Essencore, a South Korean semiconductor company who are part of SK Group; one of the largest DRAM chip manufacturers in the world.
While relatively new compared to brands like Corsair or G.SKILL, KLEVV has rapidly carved out a reputation for high-performance DRAM and SSD products. Targeting the performance gaming and overclocking segment, and exclusively using top-tier components sourced directly from parent company SK Group.
What Is the CRAS V RGB?
CRAS V RGB is KLEVV’s flagship DDR5 memory line. Positioned as a high-performance, low-latency option for gamers, creators, and overclockers, the CRAS V series combines sleek industrial design with optimised speeds and tight timings. The 64GB (2x32GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 kit is especially notable as it uses SK Hynix A-die ICs — widely regarded as the gold standard for DDR5 in terms of stability, overclocking headroom, and latency if you are DRAM nerds like ourselves!
Aesthetically, it features a brushed aluminium heat spreader with RGB illumination that’s compatible with all major motherboard lighting ecosystems*. Additionally the modules have a relatively low profile height, making it more cooler-friendly than some bulkier competitors.
*This means you don’t need to mess around with more than one lighting software for your system.

High-quality die: Using the Hynix A-die, currently offers the best combination of frequency scaling and tight latency for DDR5. It’s the die of choice for competitive overclockers and serious performance builders.
Tight CL30 latency: Compared to the more common CL36 or CL48 kits at similar speeds, CL30 dramatically improves memory responsiveness and real-world performance, especially in latency-sensitive workloads like gaming and 3D rendering.
Profile ready: The kit includes Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO. Just enable them in your BIOS and it “just works”.

Performance Testing
KLEVV CRAS V RGB CL30 vs ADATA DDR5 6000 MHz CL48 in Real World Gaming
We tested the KLEVV Cras V against one of the best-selling 64GB 6000MHz memory kits in the market – Adata’s XPG Lancer DDR5-6000. This competing kit has relatively slack CL48 timings, but the same headline-grabbing MHz rating as the Cras V Kit. Below shows the impact of the tighter CAS latency of CL30 in real-world benefits. Tested at 1080p with CPU-bound gaming on our AMD 9800 X3D and RTX 5080 test rig:

These improvements are not just synthetic. Reduced memory latency improves 1% and 0.1% lows, which translates to smoother frame pacing and fewer stutters in fast-paced or open-world games. This is particularly notable and benefits in F1 2023 and Hogwarts Legacy which use very different game engines yet show an enormous ~12.5% difference in average frame rate.
Our Verdict
The KLEVV CRAS V RGB DDR5-6000 CL30 64GB kit is one of the best-performing memory options for high-end gaming and productivity builds in the market today. Thanks to the Hynix A-die, tight CL30 latency, and beautiful build quality, it competes directly with more expensive enthusiast kits from G.SKILL.
